We breed our Nigerians to a high standard. We breed for hardiness and excellent milking ability, not just for capacity but for ease of milking and high butterfat content. We like our yogurt extra creamy. We want hardy good mama's that are easy to breed and are able to care for all the kids they have whether that be 1 or 4.We know not everyone has the time to bottle feed kids. So having strong maternal capabilities is important. We want animals that are able to withstand the cold Alberta winters with minimal intervention. We were the first farm in Alberta to import American genetics being on the Scrapie Program. We are loving what the new bloodlines are improving on our great crew of does.

 

We guarantee our breeding animals will be able to breed and be free of defects, if something shows up we will replace the animal.
